Immersive kids’ colour adventure

Following on from the blockbuster 2018 kids’ exhibition Animaze, Fremantle Arts Centre presents an even bigger and more colourful creative experience for kids with Hundreds & Thousands.

Hundreds & Thousands sees the galleries transformed into colour-filled worlds, with vibrant interactive artworks and immersive spaces designed for children and families to enjoy.

Across a spectrum of colour-themed spaces, Hundreds & Thousands offers rich sensory experiences for kids of all ages, including optical colour machines, giant golden soft sculptures to touch and participatory digital art that visitors create with their bodies.

Hundreds & Thousands is an invitation on a journey through art and colour, featuring newly commissioned artworks by Rosie Deacon, Sohan Ariel Hayes, Tyrown Waigana, Catherine Taylor, Phil Gamblen and Angela Ferolla.

Several pieces from Kate Rohde’s Ornament Crimes series and the Crystal Candy wallpaper design are included in the exhibition.
